Jennifer Vogel

Marriage Family Therapist

Jennifer Vogel

Jennifer Vogel, MA, Associate Marriage Family Therapist works at Janus Counseling Center in Santa Barbara.Jennifer meets with individuals, couples, and families in need of support and guidance in navigating relationships. Jennifer’s therapeutic approach is based upon the belief that people carry within them  the wisdom and tools to initiate psychological healing.  With this idea, the therapeutic relationship then becomes a facilitation of a return to self.  Jennifer believes that the introspective work required to truly know one’s self is some of the most vital work a person can do in her lifetime.  It fosters a sense of awareness, a sense of confidence, and most importantly—a sense of internal peace.  If we look at our life as a life-school-of-sorts, with each challenging experience our question is no longer, “why is this happening to me?” but rather, “what is this here to teach me?”

Shevon Hoover

Shevon Hoover

My name is Shevon Hoover. I am a Santa Barbara Native, health enthusiast and mother to two children. I wear many hats but take pride in the fact that work consists of passion projects through a local non-profit, as a strength training coach for women, as a facilitator for a women's teen workshop and through my own line of essential oil blends. I truly believe health finds itself in a delicate balance...mind, body and soul connection. In everyday life I strive to find this balance. I have found essential oils to be a critical tool in this form of care. It brings me great pleasure to offer tools that can be used to bring relief. I hope to guide my clients through their own health management using my education and personal experiences through movement and self-care practices.
